As a freshman, the first day of school terrified me.

Looking at the school, it stressed me out just how big it looked and how many classes were in the school. I only knew where one of my classes were, and that was this class, yearbook, and other than that I was so lost.

Looking forward, I am excited to make new friends and get to know the school better. Being a freshman is cool and all until you get to hear all of the “freshman jokes.” Mostly everything is blamed on the freshman.

The second day of school was Howl at the Moon, which was fun. Being at Howl at the Moon got me excited for the rest of the school year, and what lies ahead.

I can already tell that this school year is going to be full of fun activities. Becoming involved in anything I can at North excites me the most. The reason is so that way I can get to know the people I go to school with.

One thing I have noticed at Norman North is how many more people you see and how different people are. Another cool thing that I have come across the past couple of days is that there are so many different classes you can take and clubs you can join. I had heard about SPUD so much from upperclassmen that I hoped one day I could be a part of it. Not only is SPUD for a good cause, but it’s a fun week where you get to go out and support something with your friends.

Norman North is a good school, and I am glad to be here.
