November 9th was SPUD Push Day, which is a day where SPUD tries to raise money to reach a monetary goal (this year was $15,000) and to generate hype for next year’s SPUD Week. SPUD had several fundraisers yesterday to reach their goal such as a bake sale, an opportunity to dunk people in a  dunk tank, and an alpaca petting attraction. Because of the combined effort of all 400 SPUD committee members, they were able to exceed their goal of $15,000. SPUD Vice Publicity Chair,  Chelsea Fuenmayor said, “I was surprised in the best way possible when I found out we exceeded our goal.”
