Marching Band Improvement
Marching season for the band has come to an end. On November 2nd, the band had a senior night while performing the show, “Chaos Order” for the last time. After record-breaking competitions and a superior at OSSAA, the band has started to transition to concert season. According to a sophomore, Mackenzie Schmidt, “The band did so much better this year than last year!”
Last year, at the Yukon marching competition, the band got last place, but this year, they got bumped up to 7th. Not to mention their sweeping victory at the Elgin Marching Festival. Thanks to the band’s hard work every morning at 0 hour, they’ve managed to break boundaries! With the new band directors, the Norman North marching band has much more potential to come.
