On September 21st, we caught JV volleyball Coach Amanda Clay for a few quick questions. Coach Clay teaches biology and coaches the JV Volleyball team.

How long have you been coaching?

A: “Six years in total. This is my first year coaching high school.”

What subject do you teach?

A: “I teach biology.”

What is your experience in the sport prior to coaching it?

A: “I played all throughout middle and high school, and then went to Ouachita Baptist University (In Arkansas) for four years, to play, and then coached club after I moved here.”

What are some goals you had for this season?

A: “It was my first season so I honestly just wanted to get to know the girls as much as possible
