On Wednesday, February 19th, orchestra left for contest at Edmond Santa Fe.

They play two pieces they have practiced all year and then they sight read. Sight reading is when the musicians see a piece for the first time and then they play it in front of a group of judges.

When asked about how often the orchestra does well in contest Vice President, Elise McGoldrick said “For Norman North orchestra, winning is a normal thing.”
