Last week, Dr. Garrett announced in the weekly newsletter, that there is now an app to track school buses via a letter from Mike Tauscher, Director of Transportation Services. This should help many students that rely on a bus to get to school. Following is the letter announcing the app.

Hello parents,

Transfinder Corporation is now offering the Stopfinder application to your Android or iPhone devices. This application will enable you to set-up GeoAlerts so you can receive notifications when the school bus has arrived at your student’s morning stop, arrived at school, left school, and arrived at your student’s afternoon stop.

I would highly recommend that you visit normanpublicschools.org, click on the Transportation section on the right side, and review the information in the “Stopfinder” section. One item you may find particularly interesting in the “Learn More” section is a three-minute instructional video. Under the “Give Us Your Feedback” section is a very simple seven-question survey that will help us improve this new service for all parents.
