It’s that time of year, love is in the air and songs are filling the halls of Norman North. North’s annual Val-O-Gram program is in full swing this year. Mr. Ziegler’s jazz choir puts on the performance of a lifetime for the students. Mr. Ziegler says “We like to perform and make people smile and add a little embarrassment.” This tradition has been going on for at least 20 years since Mr. Ziegler was a student here. 

It goes without saying that the jazz choir puts in tremendous work towards this program. They begin practicing their songs on the first day back from winter break. Their angelic voices bring lots of joy to the students and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for this year. 

They sing here at North as well as at other feeder schools and other places in the community. On the 14th of February, Valentine’s Day, the jazz choir will sing their hearts out all day during school hours. A Val-O-Gram only costs seven dollars and prices vary at other locations. They can be purchased a week prior to the big date in the commons.
