Library To Host Author Lyla Lee Virtually

On Wednesday, March 23rd, Norman North’s library will have a virtual visit from Lyla Lee. The author’s visit will be held in the library classrooms during second hour. Lee is the author of the award-winning book “I’ll Be The One.” Recommended by The Today Show, “I’ll Be The One” is a Kirkus Reviews Best Book of The Year, Bank Street Best Book of the Year, and on the ALA’s Rainbow Book List Top Ten for Teen Readers. She has also written the Mindy Kim series. Lee also has written the upcoming “Flip the Script,” a joy-filled novel, with fake dating, a secret relationship, and a classic love triangle which is to be released in May 2022.

Lee was born in a small town in South Korea and has lived in many cities throughout the United States. She began writing her first stories in fourth grade, and she finished her first novel at the age of fourteen. She has worked various jobs in Hollywood and studied Psychology and Cinematic at the University of South California. Lee now lives in Dallas, Texas.
