Winter Weather Warning for Norman, OK.

UPDATE: School will be closed for the rest of the week.

Weather Forecast for this week.

Meteorologists are predicting around 6 inches of snow and 1/10 inch of ice. It will begin raining Tuesday night and the temperature will start plummeting. The rain will turn to snow, sleet, and ice causing slick roads. This may result in school being canceled.

Students are debating if school will be out, held in person, or virtually on Wednesday. Many teachers assume we will be virtual.

Throughout the day Wednesday, temperatures go below freezing causing the precipitation to freeze. This could result in students and teachers being stuck at school. Something they are familiar with.

The weather will go from being warm in the ’60s to below zero and snowing/icing.
