Friday, March 4th, the Norman North girls faced Deer Creek in a district finals rematch. The Timberwolves kept great possession in the first half leading to a Jada Ryan breakaway goal assisted by Narissa Fults with 15 minutes left in the first half. Deer Creek offered no challenge and the girls went into halftime with a secure one-goal lead.
The second half started off shaky with possession switching between both teams freely. After ten minutes of shaky play, the Timberwolves got the game back under control and started to dominate the Antlers. They finally broke through with twenty minutes left in the second half as Presley Boyd scored off a Narissa Fults cross. Shortly after, Presley hammered home her second after a Becca Tweedy assist.
The Lady Timberwolves cruised the last 20 minutes and ended with a 3-0 victory over the Antlers. Their next game is at home versus Southmoore on Tuesday, March 8th.
