On Thursday, October 7th, the football team kept their playoff hopes alive as they took on undefeated Moore at home.

Usually powered by their high-powered offense, Norman North’s defense stole the show on Thursday night.

The defense held Moore to a shoutout through almost all of four quarters only giving up one touchdown in garbage time. The shutout was possible due to North stopping three fourth-down conversions including two in the red zone.

Most notably, safety Jake Tadlock and cornerback Gavin Anderson broke up a touchdown pass in the endzone in the first half, ending Moore’s best chance at getting on the score board in the first half.

On the offensive side, the Timberwolves put up 29 points with a run-heavy scheme. Chapman McKown had another game with over 100 yards rushing, while quarterback Gavin Frakes had several scrambles and one passing touchdown.
