On Monday, February 22, the Norman North Girls Soccer Team scrimmaged Moore High School in Moore. The starting lineup was Mallory Osborn, Caroline Mcalester, Londyn Furnish, Parker McGarr, Rylie Goodman, Kendra Hudgins, Presslee Amick, Becca Tweedy, Jada Ryan, and Narissa Fults. In the first half, Presslee broke the ice by her scoring the first goal of the night. The team ended the first half with a score of 3-0 with Becca Tweedy, Kendra Hudgins, and Presslee Amick scoring. Going into the second half the Timberwolves came fast out of the locker room and scored four goals in the first ten minutes. The final score of the game was 10-0 with Moore not getting a single shot on goal. After the game, Jada Ryan, senior, stated that “It was a good way to start the season we started off slow but ended with better energy.” Scrimmages are a good way to see how the season is supposed to start out and the Norman North Girls are on a great start.
