On Monday, April 11 at the Tull Lake field. The Norman North Baseball team hosted the number 4 team, Choctaw Yellowjackets. Coach Aylor started the game off with a sharp surprise by putting in senior Nash Farrell to pitch. Farrell kept the first 4 innings almost scoreless, allowing only 1 run scored from the Yellowjackets that was due to a balk. Farrell also only let up 4 hits and 1 walk while pitching. With one out left in the 4th inning, Aylor decided to put in senior Brodie Finlay to pitch. Finley kept the game scoreless and allowed only 1 hit the whole time he was pitching while our offense was on fire keeping the game 3-1. With 2 outs left in the top of the 7th, Brodie Finlay, senior, says, “I knew there was a lot on the line, but I trusted my defense behind me and my team knew that I was that guy.” Finlay threw a fastball which caused a fly-out to senior Will Bradley, to turn down the Yellowjackets.
