Kinley Kite on her way to finish 4th

- London Brammer , Sports Writer

Sunday, August 27, at the Mustang Harrier Invitational at the Wild horse park, all four of our cross country teams placed in the top 5. Out of 15 5a and 6a teams, the varsity girls finished 3rd, and the varsity boys finished 5th out of 14 teams. Both girls and boys JV teams finished 2nd out of all participating teams. When asked about the race, Junior Jonah Hays said “it was really fun and lots of people came to support, way more than other races and it made it a lot better for the racers and gave us motivation”. 4 North runners, Jack Lindley (17), Kaleb Favaloro (37), Miguel Dodson (39), and David Evenson (47) placed in the top 50 for the varsity boys race. For the varsity girls, 6 runners made the top 50, Kinley Kite (4), Halley Jewel(14), ella camp (18), blake miller (19), Alexis Kotoucek (30), and Kiki Oconnor (34). Overall all 4 teams finished well and can look forward to future successful meets this season.
