During the regional competition for OKTSA, three Norman North students competed and won awards. The competition was held at Alex Jr-Sr Highschool. Joy Yang, Anastasia Sikavitsas, and Thatcher McMorris competed in the competition. Anastasia competed in extemporaneous speech.  Anastasia won second place at regionals, so she qualified for state. She said, “Through the competition, I gained so much experience for my event, along with gaining leadership skills that come with being a part of TSA.”

TSA stands for the Technology Student Association. Specifically in Oklahoma, the mission of Oklahoma TSA is to give students the opportunity to enhance personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in all of the fields of STEM. They do this through competitions like this case, activities, and other programs.

If you see any of the students who participated in the OKTSA regional competition, make sure to congratulate them!
