Keeping The Home Fires Burning

The bonfire burns hot with school spirit.

On Tuesday, September 21, Norman North held a bonfire in the athletic parking lot to celebrate Homecoming Week and the upcoming game.

To start off the night, the seniors from football performed with both pom and cheer squads. Each senior was paired with a member of the squad, and each pair came up with a unique handshake between the two of them. They showed off their handshake during their skit.

Following the dance, local band, ‘The Wet Muscles” with front man Liam Hosty, performed original songs as the firefighters started up the bonfire.

The students had the opportunity to purchase s’mores and snow cones from food trucks while socializing with their fellow classmates.
