Meet the Key Club
Key Club is a club with members that want to get out and help their community while bettering themselves. During the Christmas season, they went to Walmart and created Angel Trees. It’s a type of charity where you take pieces of paper off a tree and buy the presents that are on the tree. They have also done a soup kitten to help people out in the community. Club President, Sarah Lindley, senior, said “I’ve grown to love community service and to not look at it as if it was a chore… we did a coat drive and donated them to all the middle schools and elementary schools here in Norman and got to walk into the office and see their faces when we brought piles of coats. It was absolutely amazing.” Key Club meets once a month during upperclassmen lunch in the FRAC or in Mrs. McCartly’s classroom.
